"My wife and I were visiting and we were intrigued by the location being an old station. We had a flight of in-house beers, and dinner. Hopefully the owners won't be too upset if I wrote that the beers were....entry level? Every one of the 6 beers was perfectly drinkable, and I'd drink each one if it were placed in front of me. But I'm not sure if I would go out of my way to add them to my fridge in the future. I had fish and chips. The fish was good. Something tells me that the Roseburg Station's selling point is its location, history, and decor, not really its beer products.....and that's perfectly fine as long as you're prepped beforehand. Finally, we were served by a pleasant young lady!"

"The food is always stellar and the beer, cider and original cocktails are hard to beat. The service is lacking, especially if you do not order alcohol. There was a noticeable shift in service after we ordered our soft drinks. When I lived in Roseburg I loved their beer and cider but we live on the coast now and don't drink and drive but wanted to have a great lunch while in town. The price is a bit too high for the food but it is good enough to still pay it plus the atmosphere is pretty great. Just need to coach your wait staff on better customer service."

"I will say that I'm impressed, the first thing I will point out is that despite adjacent buildings being closed, McMenamins has continued to stay open after all this time, and judging by the aged decor on the walls it really shows how long this place has been standing, so you know they have to be doing something right Onto the food, I ordered the El Diablo sandwich, when I ordered it I was wondering why despite it looking like a burger, they put it in the sandwich section, I guess in hindsight I should have noticed that it didn't didn't specify that it was a chicken patty like I was expecting, and that it was an actual slice of chicken, however that slice of chicken was so tender and juicy, to the point that I had to grab a second napkin just because of it, and it honestly makes me wonder if their burgers will hold up my same expectations, my only complaint was that it was busy enough on a Tuesday afternoon that the wait time wasn't as fast as I would hope for, yet still tolerable enough to where I'm considering making this a go-to spot"

"Food and service was good but we were initially refused indoor seating because I use a service animal. I had to decline outdoor seating because the tables were unbussed and weather was not great. I had to explain to the host that I am lawfully required accesss to the same areas as the other patrons even though I use a service animal. Please educate staff on ADA requirements, there is no excuse to place a disabled veteran with a clearly marked service animal outside."
